It’s funny as I have had my work published in just about every major newspaper and magazine around the country, but I have never had anything appear in Sports Illustrated until this week! It has always been one of my lifelong dreams to get a big image published in the magazine!(I pretty much got into photography after seeing all the great photos in Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News.)
When I found out that my image of David Beckham passing the ball in the middle of a torrential downpour made the magazine, I was so excited!! I was blessed to get some images of my feature shoot with Cowboys All-Pro Demarcus Ware published in The Sporting News earlier this year, so I am definitely on cloud nine these days! You can see the behind the scenes of that shoot here.
Anyway, I thought I would share the good news with everyone! Here is the layout on page 50 of this week’s issue…
