I just got back from Chicago yesterday after photographing Diana and Joe’s BEAUTIFUL wedding. Diana is a two time Olympian and Joe is the strength and conditioning coach for the Houston Rockets. With all the Olympians and NBA players around, I am pretty sure that I was the most out of shape person there!
What made this wedding extra special for me was that I immediately felt a close connection to not only Diana and Joe, but also both of their families. Everyone was so accommodating, friendly, and willing to help with anything I needed. I love it when I can call clients friends afterwards!
A big thanks to Dennis Wierzrbicki(who is a great Chicago area photographer) for helping me shoot the wedding! The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. James Cathedral with the reception at the Palmer House Downtown.(It was hard to take a bad photo at either place!)
Both Diana and Joe looked amazing and the photos as you can see are pretty AMAZING! 😉

The church had these killer stained glass windows and the church lady let us use them for a few shots.(Glad she did!)
I hopped in a limo with Diana and Joe and went around Chicago and got some really awesome shots all in about 30 minutes! What a gorgeous couple in a beautiful city!
YES, I totally teared up while taking these photos and watching the parent dances.
When Diana told me that she had the 80’s band the Spazmatics coming to play as a surprise for Joe, I was thrilled as everyone knows how much I love the 80’s and the band is a Dallas area band who always does a great job!
